The European Academy of Nursing Sciences established their Summer Camps in the year 1998 and since then has formed tens of predoctoral students develop in the research field.
The nurses interested to form a part have to present a candidature to opt for a spot. The course lasts three years and features three modules that are carried out in different cities in Europe. This environment not only allows the students to educate themselves on mixed methods research that permits them to develop, assess, and implement complex interventions in nursing, but that offers room to develop ties among European researchers.
Blanca Goñi, a member of our team, opted for this candidature before the end of January and was accepted months later. They will be able to take part in the course of the 2021 Summer Camp of the EANS, which will be marked by the new regulations for the COVID-19, but that non the less seems to be a promising course.
