ERDAM’S 5th EDITION BEGINS
A new edition of the course Evaluation and Response to the Desire to Hasten Death kicks off at UIC Barcelona’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. This course addresses the increasing need to train professionals in the thorough analysis of psychosocial and clinical factors influencing the desire to hasten death in patients, particularly those suffering chronically.
The course, coordinated by the WeCare Chair: End-of-Life Care, is designed for healthcare professionals and is offered entirely online. It combines theoretical training with practical case studies, enabling participants to develop intervention strategies based on patient dignity and interdisciplinary support.
