Last night, May 8th, 2025, we celebrated the Áltima – WeCare Chair Awards Gala Dinner for Excellence in Palliative Care, held at Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau in Barcelona. It was an unforgettable evening bringing together healthcare professionals, leading organizations, and institutional representatives to honor commitment, excellence, and impact in the field of palliative care.
The event, hosted by Jèssica del Moral, featured heartfelt speeches from Josep Ventura (Áltima), Cristina Monforte and Joaquim Julià (WeCare Chair), Elia Martínez (SECPAL), and Cristina Farriols (SCBCP), highlighting the essential role of humanizing care during life’s most vulnerable moments.
Awards were presented to the following recipients:
