Raquel Ibáñez-Monforte, PhD candidate in the Humanities and Health Sciences programme at UIC Barcelona and researcher linked to the WeCare Chair, has received two Audience Awards in the 8th edition of the interuniversity competition “Present your thesis in 4 minutes”, organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRi).
Her research was highly appreciated in both the oral and poster formats:
– Audience Award for Best Oral Presentation, for her clear and accessible explanation of her research on the use of cinema as a therapeutic tool in palliative care, particularly in end-of-life contexts.
– Audience Award for Best Scientific Poster, for the visual and communicative quality with which she presented her thesis, making its aims and results understandable to a general audience.

This double recognition highlights not only the quality of the research promoted by the Chair, but also the importance of making it accessible and meaningful to society.
