The WeCare Chair at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya is part of the European project RAPHAEL – Integrating a palliative care approach for patients with heart failure, an initiative funded by the Horizon Europe program. This project aims to integrate a palliative care approach for patients with heart failure across Europe.
The WeCare Chair’s participation in the RAPHAEL project was formalized on February 1, 2024, when we took on the leadership of one of the project’s work packages. This involvement allows us to contribute our experience in applied palliative care research and clinical modeling, working closely with other academic institutions, healthcare centers, and European technological partners.
