The WeCare Chair at UIC Barcelona will hold the 12th WeCare International Workshop on Thursday, May 7, 2026—a well-established forum for knowledge exchange, reflection, and dialogue in the field of palliative care.
Titled “Advances and Challenges in Palliative Care: Innovation and Outcomes,” the workshop will bring together professionals from different disciplines to address, from a current and practice-oriented perspective, key clinical, teaching, and research challenges in palliative care. The program will combine talks, shared experiences, and discussion spaces on topics such as advanced heart failure care, communication and conversations about death, spirituality, clinical simulation, and perinatal palliative care, among others.
The event is aimed at healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and students interested in moving toward more human, integrated, and evidence-based palliative care, while also sharing best practices and research results.
SAVE THE DATE: May 7, 2026.
Registration will open soon, and we will share further details about the program and how to participate through the WeCare Chair’s usual channels.
A workshop designed to keep building—together—the present and future of palliative care.
