On a new occasion, on September 22, 2020, Andrea Rodriguez-Prat was invited to an update session of the Catalan-Balearic Society of Palliative Care. This time, the objective of the session was to discuss the concept of dignity from a philosophical point of view and its application in clinical practice. The associate professor and graduate in Humanities, raised, on the one hand, a reflection on the look from a philosophical-anthropological point of view through three coordinates: 1. The look in the world of the image, 2. The look in the world of technique 3. The gaze in a liquid world. On the other hand, she introduced the concept of dignity based on scientific studies in the field of end of life.
Dignity at the end of life is one of the topics most studied by our group, and Andrea one of our greatest pillars in this regard. During this conference, held virtually, around 30 clinicians from the palliative care field participated.
