The WeCare Chair: End-of-Life Care at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya is pleased to announce the programme of the 12th International Workshop, which will take place on May 7th, 2026, at the Barcelona Campus.
This event will bring together healthcare and academic professionals to share recent advances, experiences and practical resources in the care of patients with advanced diseases. The workshop will address key current challenges in palliative care, with an innovative, interdisciplinary and patient-centred approach.
The programme features leading national and international speakers, including Everlien de Graaf (Utrecht University), who will present on the development of a European model for palliative care in advanced heart failure.
This workshop is also part of the dissemination activities of the European project RAPHAEL, contributing to the promotion of innovative and humanised care models, as well as fostering international collaboration and knowledge transfer.
The event is designed to provide practical tools, up-to-date evidence and a holistic perspective to improve care for patients and their families.
