On October 23rd, Jennifer Malumbres Talavera successfully defended her doctoral thesis at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. The title of the thesis, “Impact of an educational intervention in home caregivers of elderly people who express a desire to anticipate death”, reflects the relevance and depth of her research in the field of Health Sciences.
The thesis directors were Dr. Albert Gallart Fernández-Puebla and Dr. Cristina Monforte Royo, who guided and supported Jennifer’s work throughout her research process.
The panel, composed of leading experts in the field, included Dr. Jesús María Lavado García from the University of Extremadura as president, Dr. Ester Risco Vilarasau from the Institut de Recerca i Investigació Parc Taulí as a member, and Dr. María Ángeles De Juan Pardo from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya as secretary.
The exceptional quality of their work was recognized with a grade of “Outstanding Cum Laude”, thus granting a well-deserved recognition to their dedication, rigor and contribution to the field of Health Sciences.
