As part of the Master’s Degree in Palliative Care at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, the WeCare Chaircontinues to promote spaces for reflection and learning with leading professionals in the field of palliative care.
Yesterday, 12 May, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr Ana Martín Ancel, specialist in Paediatrics and Neonatology at the Neonatology Department of Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona and teaching collaborator at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
The session, entitled “Palliative care when life is just beginning”, offered an opportunity to explore the key aspects of palliative care in the perinatal context, drawing on Dr Martín Ancel’s extensive clinical, teaching and research experience in this field.
Thank you to everyone who registered and took part in this session, which helped us reflect on how to provide care and support in moments of great complexity and vulnerability, when life is just beginning.
