Blanca Goñi, a predoctoral student of the WeCare Chair research team, along with her team won the first prize for the best oral communication at the XI Congress of the Catalan-Balearic Society for Palliative Care, Science and Art, which took place during on February 14 and 15 at the World Trade Center in Barcelona.
The communication was presented on Friday, February 14 at a table on Needs And Care For The Neurological Patient.
The work presented by Blanca Goñi showed a systematic review and meta-ethnography of seven qualitative articles on multidimensional needs in palliative care for cancer patients. This work is part of his doctoral thesis and contains preliminary results of the project financed by the Carlos III Health Institute (PI19 / 1901).
